Launching a print shop

I’ve done it finally, I’ve launched my print shop. At the moment it’s a fairly simple one, only one size availabe and not all of my artwork up but I did it. I’ve always underestimated how proud I would feel when this happened, being able to make money from my art even if it isn’t all that much, makes me feel so accomplished.

It’s not much but for someone who has spent the last 15 years unable to work and not being capable of making my own money it means a lot to me to have a set up where I can (maybe) make money.

On top of money, which isn’t everything, it gives me the chance to get my artwork out there. Now I can say “I’m a professional artist” and that people love my art so much they want to own it, god that means so much to me. That’s the real diffence between buying from a big company who just cares about numbers and from a small business that every single sale means something.

Now to try and make my first sale.
